The Cutlass CT50: Forceful Playability
The ultra-stable roasted maple neck has been bound to the body with five bolts to ensure supreme vibrational transfer, and is a deluxe detail considering the price of this electric guitar. Meanwhile, the modern 12-inch fretboard radius and 22 medium frets provides a snug playability, whether grabbing notes or chords, and the poplar body has a lighter-than-average, comfortable feel. The flexible tonal power of this tone machine is shaped by a set of two passive single-coils and a thick humbucker at the bridge.

Deze gitaar als B-Stock gekocht waar erg duidelijk werd aangegeven dat er een onderdeel miste, wat ik al vermoedde dat de tremolo-arm zou zijn. Helemaal geen probleem, hier was de prijs natuurlijk ook naar en zo'n arm is snel gekocht/geïmproviseerd. De gitaar is top, wat mij all opviel is dat de afstelling/set-up echt bár en bár slecht was, dit was echt zwaar onder het niveau van wat van een gespecialiseerde muziekwinkel verwacht mag worden. Op bijna elke positie op de hals op 5 van de 6 snaren trad fret-buzz op. Gelukkig ben ik hier enigzins in thuis en kon ik het oplossen, maar voor de absolute beginner zou dit betekenen dat de gitaar direct na aflevering door kan naar een muziekwinkel om een fatsoenlijke set-up te laten uitvoeren. Dus; prima product, maar serieuze nalatigheid door de verkoper.
